Regional Technical Sales Manager (Pharma Coatings + Excipients)

Your Tasks
The Regional Technical Sales Manager will be in charge of the technical (sales) development of the Pharma- and Nutraceutical customers in South-East Asia. At first, the focus will be on Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan. Countries of interest at a later stage may include Philippines, Australia & New Zealand, and East Asia (together with JRS Offices).
Technical experience in Pharma Coatings and Excipients is key to this role.

Rettenmaier (SEA) Sdn Bhd has been established in 2015 in Malaysia. Our Regional Office is located in Kuala Lumpur (Bangsar), with a multi-cultural team of 11 persons. Rettenmaier (SEA) cares for the network of customers, partners, distributors in APAC – and for our Business Unit Pharma specifically for the SEA-ANZ region.
Qualifications and Skills
- Engineer, pharmacist, chemist, biologist
Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Minimum 2 years of experience in coating technology (lab and production scale)
Capability to deal with customers in complex scenarios
Presentation skills
Project management
Strong computer, written and verbal communication skills. Fluency in English. Second language (e.g. Mandarin) desirable but not essential
Requires regular travel throughout SEA-ANZ region. Willing and able to travel by car and plane
